Motorola Droid X2 Launch Thursday on May 12, Full Specs Leak Out

Rumors said that Verizon will launch the Motorola Droid X2, LG Revolution and HTC Trophy on May 12, 2011. The Motorola Droid X2 has a 4.3-inch multi-touch screen with 540×960 pixels qHD resolution, higher than 480×854 of Droid X. The processor will be upgraded to dual-core Tegra 1Ghz processor from NVIDIA which is faster than LG Optimus 2X. It is currently running Android 2.2 Froyo but probably shipping with 2.3 Gingerbread. Other features like 8MP camera able to record 720p HD videos, RAM/ROM configuration remain identical to the original Droid X at 512MB/8GB, 1080p HD videos playback over HDMI as well as higher frame rates for both playback and capture (between 26-30fps, reportedly).

The price detail is not yet revealed. But it is expected to cost $199.99.Nevertheless, let’s wait for Motorola to launch Motorola Droid X2.
