News from ElectricPig tells us that Apple’s UK iPhone PR team has approached journalists from major publications to attend the WWDC 2011 held from June 6 to June 10 in San Francisco. Comments say it is obvious that Apple is doing this for the release of its next iPhone.

According to the news, the next iPhone of Apple is iPhone 4S instead of the hot-rumored iPhone 5 and will show up on June 6 at WWDC soon. The iPhone 4S will be an upgrade version of iPhone 4 with a few changes. It is expected to rock minor cosmetic changes, along with 8MP cameras, an A5 dual-core processor and HSPA+ support, enabling faster mobile broadband.

iPhone 4S?

Since there is precedent that Apple has upgraded iPhone 3G to iPhone 3GS, so it is reasonable for the guess for this iPhone 4S. Now Apple is controlling the production of iPhone 4 so this is very likely for the preparation of the next iPhone – iPhone 4S.
