iPad 3

According to media in Taiwan, Apple has authenticated the material suppliers for iPad 3 last week. The materials used for touch screen, components and optics have began stocking for mass production. So it is possible that the iPad 3 may show up in WWDC in June.

Due to the influence of the Japan earthquake this March 11, the materials for tablet PCs have been in shortage. Many tablet PC manufacturers have to reduce the productions for lack of materials. RIM even delayed its release of Blackberry Playbook to April 19, even though it should debut earlier than iPad 2. Apple, however, due to the huge success of iPad, iPhone series and iPod, has dominant advantage to gather materials for itself. This makes it possible for Apple to occupy a commanding point when debute a new product and thus makes it harder for its competitors.

The iPad 3 new features may include new processor Apple’s A6, an NFC chip, more storage, Thunderbolt port, cloud technology, SD card slot and better camera. But the price may be higher than iPad 2.
