St. Patrick’s Day is near! The theme is green, the color of Spring. The Irish festival is now a popular western holiday. As a Christian, you may have many funny traditional activities to participate in, e.g., parades at cities and towns, delicious Irish food and drink. In addition, there is a special craft idea for your St Patrick’s Day - Create a holiday DVD with the best photos taken with your digital camera and organized in PowerPoint.

MS PowerPoint
Quality photos of St Patrick’s Day
Moyea PPT to DVD Burner
A blank DVD disc
Additional (for sound DVD slideshow)
A good song for background music
St Patrick’s Day movie or video clip
Steps to Create a St Patrick’s Day DVD with PowerPoint
Whatever the focus of your St Patrick’s Day DVD slideshow is, e.g. history, tradition, symbols, parades, or kid’s crafts, you can find it a cinch to make it as you follow the 5 steps below:

Step 1: Add St Patrick’s Day photos to PowerPoint
You can import chic holiday photos using Photo Album feature in PowerPoint. Click Insert -> Photo Album -> New Photo Album… to add the ready photos. To edit the photos, under Insert > Photo Album, select Edit Photo Album to edit album layout, frame shape and add in captions to the imported photos.
Note that you’d better optimize the photos with Photoshop or else image editing tool before inserting to PowerPoint.
Step 2: Add template/background to your DVD presentation
You can use a default theme (Under Design tab) in PowerPoint. If you want a different one, click here for free special PowerPoint Templates and Backgrounds.
Step 3: Add animations, transitions to the slides
Some animations and transitions will make your St Patrick’s Day project look more vivid. But do not add in too many of them.
Step 4: Add music/narration/video clips to your presentation
St Patrick’s Day song can be added to play across your presentation. So does your very voice narration. So does a funny holiday video clip that you shoot with your digital camera. Sure to help make a dynamic effect for your DVD slideshow.

Step 5: Convert the St Patrick’s Day presentation to DVD
When the presentation is ready, you can convert and burn it to DVD with a conversion tool like Moyea PPT to DVD Burner. Download and install the PPT to DVD Burner.
Insert the blank DVD disc to your computer. Add in your valentine presentation to the burner. Choose a DVD output (HD or Standard). Add in an image to make a unique logo. Select a matching DVD menu for remote control on TV.

Click Start to burn the St Patrick’s Day PowerPoint to DVD.
A minute or two, you will get a clear-cut DVD with St Patrick’s Day slideshow. Connect it to a DVD player, and enjoy it with family and friends on TV. You can keep the disc as a precious memory that will never perish.
