I’m going to coat-tail on what “Very Evolved” said… The way you connect to your audience is… Know who you are writing to. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldn’t write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.
One thing to think about is that not everybody is going to like or accept us in existence even though we like them. The comment that has upset you sounds like she doesn’t like you and is just attempting to upset you - I wouldn’t believe about it as criticism but just an insult. The other point that comes to mind is always individuals say nasty things for all kinds of causes and issues - perhaps she is jealous of you, or does not like herself, or sees you being a threat, or wants to become top dog - all types of motives and really it just does not issue simply because who and what you are is your company and it’s important that you like you.
Fascinating! But you ought to check your comments more carefully. You seem to be taking on some dodgy comments. I had exactly the same problem myself. So now I go over everything as carefully as I can.
