The world is not a big one and social networking community like Facebook makes it even smaller. Created to enhance human communication and tighten the friendship, Facebook sees its users jump from thousands to millions in recent years. As a consequence, Facebook is frequently used as a platform for self-expression. This point becomes obvious during the holiday time. For example, on New Year 2013, users love to send New Year cards to friends on Facebook and on Valentine’s Day 2013, they love to share Valentine’s Day PowerPoint on Facebook.
To be honest, sharing Valentine’s Day PowerPoint on Facebook is a quite innovative ideal to celebrate Valentine’s Day 2013. However, is this Valentine’s Day idea a feasible one and can users really share PowerPoint on Facebook? Yes, of course they can. Therefore, this post will focus on three methods that allow users to carry out the Valentine’s Day idea of sharing Valentine’s Day PowerPoint on Facebook.
Method One: Convert PowerPoint to Photos for Facebook
It is a known story that Facebook is a much better place to share photos than share PowerPoint. Therefore, a feasible way for users to share Valentine’s Day PowerPoint on Facebook is to convert those PowerPoint slides to photos. When the conversion is done, users are allowed to upload those slide photos to Facebook. Of course, an obvious defect of this method is that the converted Valentine’s Day PowerPoint is not allowed to contain any animated effects. As a consequence, it becomes much less attractive.
Step 1: Open the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint, click “File” button and then choose “Save as” option to export the PowerPoint slides as PNG images.
Step 2: Log in the Facebook account, then click “Add Photos/Video” tab in the Profile page and choose “Upload Photos/Video” option to import those converted slides of Valentine’s Day PowerPoint.
Method Two: Upload PowerPoint to Facebook with SlideShare
Facebook can’t add support to PowerPoint, but it can get direct accesses to Valentine’s Day PowerPoint with the help of a third app named SlideShare. Function as a web-based PowerPoint viewer, SlideShare allows Facebook users to view Valentine’s Day PowerPoint slides by slides. Generally speaking, users only need to upload the PowerPoint to Slideshare and then share the links in Facebook. However, when uploading Valentine’s Day PowerPoint to SlideShare, all animated effects of the presentation have been gone.
Step 1: Find the SlideShare app in Facebook with searching bar, then click “Visit Website” button to turn to the homepage of SlideShare. Register an account on the website and then click “Upload” button.
Step 2: Then select the “Upload” icon in orange to import the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint to the website. When the uploading process is done, the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint will be converted.
Step 3: After the conversion process, click the icon of Facebook listed next to “SHARE” and then choose “Share Link” to manage the process of sharing Valentine’s Day PowerPoint on Facebook.
Method Three: Convert PowerPoint to YouTube
For those who desire to maintain the animated effects of the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint after sharing it on Facebook, they need to convert PowerPoint to videos. Of course, users are allowed to convert the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint to Facebook video. However, an even better way to manage it is to convert PowerPoint to YouTube. For one thing, YouTube is compatible to much more video files than Facebook; for another, the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint can also be publicized on YouTube. Of course, a PowerPoint to YouTube video converter is needed.
Step 1: Download and launch Moyea PPT to Video Converter. Open it, click “Add” icon to import the Valentine’s Day PowerPoint, set the output file as FLV video in the drop-down menu of “Profile” and then click “Convert” button to manage the conversion process.
